French Toast

Ingredients

  • 6 thick slices of bread
  • 2 eggs
  • 2/3 cups milk
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • Salt to taste

Directions

  1. Beat together egg, milk, salt, spices, and vanilla.
  2. Heat a lightly oiled griddle or skillet over medium-high flame.
  3. Dunk each slice of bread in egg mixture, soaking both sides.
  4. Place in pan and cook on both sides until golden.
